Log4OM Integration

Configure Log4OM tracking through ShackMaestro.

Use this guide to connect Log4OM for logging and tracking without direct COM-port conflicts.

What this does

Choose the Log4OM CAT path that matches your station.

Log4OM can receive radio frequency and mode information through OmniRig when your station uses OmniRig. Avoid having Log4OM open the same physical radio COM port that ShackMaestro is using.

If you use OmniRig, set the CAT Engine to OmniRig, then save and apply the configuration.

Setup steps

Configure Log4OM.

Open Program Configuration

In Log4OM, go to Settings → Program Configuration.

Open CAT Interface

Select Hardware Configuration → CAT Interface.

Select the CAT engine

If you use OmniRig, set CAT Engine to OmniRig.

Save and apply

Click Save and Apply to activate the setting.

Success check: Log4OM should display the correct radio frequency and mode through the CAT path you selected. It should not be configured to open the same physical radio USB COM port used by ShackMaestro.
