This release focuses on making ShackMaestro feel smoother and more dependable during real operating sessions.

Operators

Maintain separate ShackMaestro configurations for different operators, stations, radios, or testing setups.

PTT responsiveness

The PTT macro now responds more quickly, especially when returning from transmit to receive.

Better feedback path

Use Settings → Send Feedback in ShackMaestro to send a prefilled support email from your default mail program.

Macro polish

Dropdown behavior, saved macro restore, macro chip colors, and General Settings color editing have been refined.

Digital profile improvements

Startup sequencing for WSJT-X, Log4OM, and companion applications has been improved for digital operating.

ShackScope and settings refinements

Additional reliability and usability improvements make the companion scope and settings workflow easier to live with.

Before installing

Review the Getting Started guide if you have not already installed the Icom USB driver or the ShackScope virtual COM pair. Add OmniRig or other station software only after the basic ShackMaestro/ShackScope setup is working.

Setup integrations gradually

Start by confirming ShackMaestro can communicate directly with the radio, then verify ShackScope. After that, add optional OmniRig, WSJT-X, Log4OM, SDR Console, or other station software one at a time.
